I parked in the parking lot across Ortega Oaks Candy Store. The candy store sells the Adventure Pass if you forget yours. The Bear Canyon trailhead is on the south side of the store. There is a big sign for it. You can’t miss it. Soon we came to the San Mateo Wilderness information board
This is a hike we did during our glamping trip back in April near Warner Springs, CA. Thanks to our host Laurie who was nice to draw me the map of the trailhead when she gave me a rundown of the place when we checked in the day before, it was super easy to find
