Group Hike Schedule

Hello! Thank you for your interest in our dog-friendly guided hikes!

Please note that our group hikes are scheduled monthly and the schedule is shared with our email members first before it’s shared with the rest of the world. Also, all our hikes have a group size limit. This is so that the group stays together throughout the hike.

Space is limited, so don’t wait too long to reserve your spot. Your spot might get taken by someone who is enthusiastic as you. Don’t worry, our cancellation policy allows you to get a full refund up to 4 days before the event, no questions asked.

CA Adventure Day/Annual Pass($5/$30) is required to park in the National Forest for recreation. If a hike requires this pass, it will be stated so.  You can get this pass from REI or Big 5 Sporting Goods stores near you.

DATE: SUNDAY, 5/21/23 – CLOSED
LOCATION: Frazier Park, CA (Los Padres National Forest)

START TIME: 8:45 AM

  • Elev. Gain: 1,404 ft.
  • Maximum Altitude: 8,850 ft.
  • Est. Time:  4.5-5 hrs
  • Notable:  Summit, views, forest, high altitude, loop, portable restroom

CA Adventure Pass is required.  This hike is beautiful and so peaceful. It’s in the Los Padres National Forest and the trailhead is easy to get to.  It’s a nice drive from LA. It will make a great day trip.  Please bring a portable chair and lunch, and join us after the hike!

IMPORTANT:  Please sign up for this hike ONLY IF you’ve hiked in high altitudes.  

If you have a medical condition, please check with your doctor before hiking at a high altitude.

DATE: FRIDAY, 6/16/23 – GUIDED HIKE & MEDITATION
LOCATION: Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

START TIME: 8:30 AM

  • Distance:  2.5 miles 
  • Est. Time:  2 hrs
  • Notable:  Oceanview, wildflowers
  • Group Size:  up to 5

Come join us on June 16th as we hike through rolling hills and wildflowers until we reach a perfect location for a 10-minute guided meditation, then we’ll finish hiking. Please bring a blanket or a pillow to sit on.

This hike is designed to help you end the busy stressful work week and transition into the relaxing vibe for the weekend. Beginners are welcome!

NOTE: Sorry, please leave your pup at home for this event.

LOCATION: La Canada Flintridge, CA (Angeles National Forest)

START TIME: 7:45 AM

  • Distance: 7 miles
  • Elev. Gain: 1,640 ft.
  • Max Altitude: 6,165 ft.
  • Notable: Summit, rocky terrain, out and back
  • Group Size: up to 5

This hike is rated Challenging. However, 2/3 of the hike is a gradual incline and is rated moderate.

This hike is great for anyone who feels comfortable with moderate hikes and wants to challenge themselves. It’s also perfect for anyone who wants to train for high-altitude hiking.

NOTE: Although this hike is dog-friendly, it will be too hot for your dog. It’d be best if they sit this one out. Xena will sit this one out.

  • If canceled within 4 days of the event date, the penalty will be 25% each day.
  • No show or cancellation on the event day will be non-refundable.
