Action expresses priorities. – Mahatma Gandhi
My actions show that these are my top 3 priorities:
- Physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being
- Being there for my loved ones
- Career
What do your actions say about your priorities? Are you actions inline with your true priorities (what your heart desires)?
I love this question. I chose my career path because it allowed me the flexibility to be there for my loved ones while still being able to provide what they need. Knowing this relieves a great deal of stress for me which is good for my physical and emotional well-being. I’d like to think it’s possible to meet all of your priorities simultaneously when you strive to achieve that balance. What do you think?
Maybe it’s just a different way of looking at the priorities. I think we always try to achieve the balance to have all that is important to us. I also agree that the priorities are related and they have interdependency. If I am not healthy, I can’t be there for my loved ones. So is my health my first priority or is being there for my loved ones my first priority? I interpreted the quote this way: Whatever we do, we make a choice to do that so do you spend your time for the truly important things? Of course, it can be interpreted in different ways. Interesting discussion.. 🙂
