Back in December, we explored a new trail in Forest Falls, CA. This moderately trafficked trail is part of San Bernardino National Forest and Sand to Snow National Monument. If you’d like to know where to park and how to get to the trailhead, please refer to our Mt Hawkins & Throop Peak via

We began the hike on a fire road near the Mt Baldy ski lifts. It’s a grueling uphill for 0.4 miles to Mt Baldy Road.
