Fawnskin is 95 miles east of Los Angeles. The trailhead is located in Fawnskin (north of Big Bear Lake) across from the Grout Bay Picnic Area. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking when we arrived. I was nicely surprised by a flush toilet! Those things are hard to come by
