Blog Party!

Wow! We just reached a milestone this week by reaching 1,000 follows!

Whether you are our old friend or a new supporter, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for following along with our adventures and taking your time out to read our stories. I hope our adventures inspire you to get out more and enjoy the great outdoors with your furry best friend.

To celebrate our community, I decided to create a sharing post like we did before. In the comment section below, please describe what your blog is about and share a link to your blog so others can find you. I hope you find kindred spirits in this forum.

Also, we are running a special promotion at Outdoor Dog Photography for HGwD fans. When you request an appointment online, please make sure to mention ‘HGWD1000’ and get 10% off your next photo shoot! The discount code expires on 5/31/19.

Hugs~

  1. Congratulations on 1000 followers!

Here’s the link to my blog. I’ve run a little dry as of late with travel posts. It’s been a busy semester at my university! Generally, I try to note every day great people and places as I travel. My perspective is a Christian one, and I tend to focus on social justice themes. I like to say it’s a travel blog with a social conscience. https://godsgreatworld.wordpress.com/

Our town, Searcy, Arkansas, is also hosting the Small Business Revolution Season 4 on HULU (to air in October). I plan to write up some brief articles about local businesses in Searcy and Arkansas as well.

I’d love to get more followers and readers. If you follow me, I’ll follow you!

  2. 1000 wow, that’s such a superb achievement. Well done HGwD.
Mine is https://treksandtors.co/ and as it says its a photographic walking dairy of my outdoor wanders on Dartmoor and the surrounding areas (all in the UK so far). Here’s to walking further and finding new things to see.

  3. Big congratulations, Jamie. You’ve put in the time, trail-time as well as blogging-time, regarding your adventures with Xena. I enjoy your blog immensely, keep up the good work! And tell Xena, I said ‘hi.’

As you know, I blog about backpacking, hiking, x-country skiing, and camping with friends, my spouse and, on occasion with my grandsons. I’m also a HAM radio operator and I drag my gear out in the woods and operate using solar energy on occasion. You can follow me at https://www.backcountryjournal.net/ . Mike, KE0GZT

  4. Congratulations on making it to 1000+ followers! So glad I found your blog. You and your dog remind me of a good friend of mine. 🙂
Unlimited Joy Studios is a blog that we (Brandon and Naomi) created to help us live more fully through creativity and joy. We like to make art, play board games, and do fun projects. We even have some artwork from National Parks from reference photos we took when we camped and hiked at them. Hopefully we’ll be on the trail again soon. Check out our website at https://unlimitedjoystudios.com Enjoy!-Naomi

  5. That’s amazing!! Congratulations!! Any tips you would like to share?! 🙂 I really enjoy your blog and we definitely have some similar interests! My blog is about dog adventures with my dogs, including: hiking, waterfalls, ice cream, beaches, lighthouse, and much more. I’d love to share it with your followers if they are interested in reading more! My website is http://www.adventuresofshadowandwilma.com Nice of you to encourage others to share!

    1. Thank you 💕 and thank you for sharing your blog! Yes, we do have similar interests! I enjoy following your adventures as well! Oh..Everyone blogs for a dfference reason so what I did may not work for others. But I can still share with you. I wrote a post as if no one was reading, as if I am writing in my journal what we did on the hike, what happened, how it made me feel and what thought about the experience, etc. Slowly the blog attracted readers who liked my writing style because, I think, it is honest. And the blog community slowly got bigger. Eventually, my writing found its voice naturally. I think being consistent with writing and staying true to why you blog is the key. And yea, let’s not forget about cute Xena’s photos to lure everyone in! 😍 Have a great weekend!
